Out of the Blue is the first in a series of 8 films about maternal mental health made with Heirloom media for charity Best Beginnings in partnership with the Duchess of Cambridge’s “Heads Together” campaign. We filmed across the whole series and directed 3 of them. The films allow ordinary men and women to speak openly about their experiences, breaking the silence and reducing stigma. The other films we directed were about Fatherhood and Post Partum Psychosis.
