Zan directed these ten short films for BBC Bitesize working with Hamlett Films. It was a counterintuitive way of working as we had to direct the live action around the animation, so the normal filmmaking rules basically went out of the window.
We shot with lovely students in Sheffield and London and I’m sure you will agree that the animation by Thành Trần is superb.
